Battle of the Midwest Champions

Motown Magic hit the road and showed up in a big way at the Playmakers Tournament hosted at Hype Athletics in Dearborn Heights for the Battle of the Midwest—and it turned into a statement weekend.

From start to finish, the squad competed at a high level, ultimately bringing home the championship with a series of dominant performances.

Tournament Results

• Playmakers (57–55)A hard-fought opening battle set the tone. Ben Hefel led the charge with an impressive 25 points and 15 rebounds.

• SC Elite Red (52–43)Motown Magic stayed locked in, with Dre Howard delivering 18 points and 11 rebounds in a strong all-around performance.

• Lindsey Hunter Elite (65–33)A statement win. Dre Howard continued his dominance with 15 points, while Gabe Wade added 11 points to fuel the blowout victory.
