UofM Spring Tournament: Go Magic & Go Blue!

Over the weekend, the Motown Magic basketball team ventured into the heart of the FASST Spring Challenge, hosted at the University of Michigan Flint and the Hype Dearborn facility. Excitement filled the air as players from all grade levels geared up to showcase their skills on the court.

The Motown Magic took center stage, displaying their prowess with an impressive performance that saw them secure a notable 3-1 record throughout the tournament. Their journey was marked by thrilling victories:

Their first clash against BBT resulted in a commanding win, with a final score of 41-24. The team's cohesion and determination were evident as they dominated the court.

In a remarkable display of skill and teamwork, the Motown Magic faced off against the Warrendale Warriors, securing an emphatic victory with a staggering scoreline of 53-8. Their relentless energy and strategic gameplay left their opponents in awe.

Continuing their winning streak, the Motown Magic triumphed over Mustang with an impressive score of 63-31. Their unwavering focus and commitment to excellence propelled them towards yet another resounding victory.

However, every journey has its challenges, and in the championship match against the formidable WPA Suns, the Motown Magic faced a tough battle. Despite their best efforts, they fell short with a final score of 40-61, ultimately clinching the second spot in the tournament.
