Hey everyone, Coach T here from Motown Magic!
We want to give a huge thank you to all of you who supported our Thanksgiving Bucket of Cheer Raffle. Your generosity helps us cover tournament costs for the upcoming season, and it truly means a lot to our boys and our program.
The idea was simple: each kid would personally thank everyone who bought a ticket.
…But let’s just say we might need a second Bucket of Cheer to fund some media training for these guys. 😂
For the drawing, we decided to make it fun. During practice, we ran a 3-point shootout to see which player would earn the honor of pulling the winning ticket out of the Magic Hat.
Kam stepped up and went crazy—10 for 12 from three. Absolute sniper mode. So he earned the right to draw the winner.
And the lucky name he pulled?
Ms. Laura Petrik — Mason’s grandmother!
Granny walked away with about 11 fifths… sheesh. Thanksgiving at her house is about to be elite.
This whole thing was a blast, and we appreciate every single person who participated, supported, and cheered us on.
