🚨 Another electrifying week in the Magic universe! 🚨

The boys are back in the gym, and this week we turned up the heat on one of the most critical parts of the game: shooting under pressure. We want every player to understand what it means to knock down shots when they’re tired, defended, and feeling the clock tick. This is where good players separate from great players — when form and focus stay locked in no matter the situation.

Right now, we’re sitting at 38% shooting as a team in tournaments — and our mission is to push that number closer to 50%. To get there, we’re putting in serious work. With the help of our shooting machines, we’ll be simulating in-game speed and intensity. Each practice is built to pump out nearly 2,200 shots total — about 200 shots per player. That’s the kind of repetition high school varsity players need, and that’s the standard we’re chasing. 💪

We’ll also be locking into the University of Alabama shooting drills this week. Parents — please make sure your player reviews and comes ready for these three powerhouse drills. They are designed to condition and elevate our shooters so they can rise to the occasion when it matters most.

🔥 On top of that, we’ve got our Pro Trainer Coach Leif coming in this week! He’ll be breaking down every detail of each player’s form. Because here’s the truth: 200 reps of bad mechanics won’t cut it. We’re zeroing in on form, footwork, and confidence so that every rep is a building block toward consistency.

We’re officially one week into our Lions Squares fundraiser, and we need everyone to stay locked in. Tournament season is coming fast — our first battle tips off September 6th at Whitmore Lake in the Fall Kickoff. These tournaments aren’t fluff; they’re built to test us against real competition at a moderate to difficult level. We want the boys ready to compete, and this is where it all begins.

Our Flight Camp is winding down, and we couldn’t be more excited about the growth we’ve seen this summer. The feedback has been incredible, and Coach Swan is already buzzing about future camps. Momentum is building — now it’s about carrying it into the season.
