Magic Universe Kicks Off the Season with a Championship Win!

ree

What a way to start the season! Our kickoff week in the Magic Universe was a resounding success, culminating in winning the FAAST Break Challenge divisional championship in Belleville, MI.

A huge shoutout to all the teams that competed—there are some exciting new programs emerging, fresh faces, and familiar rivals. The competition was fierce, but our average margin of victory was 30.5 points, showcasing the talent and depth of our squad. While the boys delivered an impressive performance, there’s always room for improvement.

As we gear up for AAU league play, our focus will be on executing plays more efficiently. This tournament reinforced the importance of understanding the playbook, and I believe the message is sinking in. If any player has questions, reach out to your coaches or teammates—we are a team built on individual talent, but success comes from blending those talents within our system. Our coaching staff is committed to helping each player maximize their strengths within the framework of our playbook. It’s an exciting challenge, and we’re eager to see what’s ahead!
