Motown Magic Basketball – Lions Thanksgiving Basket of Cheer Fundraiser

Dear Parents and Families,

We’re excited to kick off our Lions Thanksgiving Basket of Cheer Fundraiser — a fun and rewarding way to support our boys and help cover upcoming tournament expenses.

Fundraising Goal:

$3,000 total (approximately $300 per family)

Each family is responsible for selling 10 raffle tickets at $30 each. This effort not only helps reduce team costs but also builds pride and teamwork within our program.

The Prize – Lions Thanksgiving Basket of Cheer ($600+ Value):

Our lucky winner will receive a basket filled with:

• A premium selection of assorted alcohol and spirits

• Detroit Lions, Pistons, and Tigers jerseys

• Lions-themed party items to help celebrate Thanksgiving in true Detroit fashion

  
  

How It Works:

• Ticket Sales: Each ticket is $30. Families are responsible for selling at least 10 tickets.

• Payments: Collected funds can be sent directly to Venmo: @tarmaledaniel

  • Please include the buyer’s name and your player’s name in the Venmo notes.

• Raffle Ticket Assignment: Each purchase will be assigned a raffle ticket number.

• Winner Announcement: The drawing will take place live on our team’s Instagram on Friday, November 21st, during team practice.

  
  

Why This Matters:

Funds raised will go directly toward tournament registration fees, travel expenses, and team costs.

Families who choose not to participate should be aware that team fees and tournament costs will increase accordingly to make up the difference.
